Constructed of field gray wool, with fold down side and back panels with gently sloping, downward scallops to the front, along with a single enameled rivet on either side of the cap for air circulation. The front of the cap features a machine embroidered, Wehrmacht eagle, constructed of grey machine embroidery in the shape of a national eagle with open wings clutching a wreathed mobile swastika.
