GETTING TO GORONGOSA
Access TO Gorongosa National Park
AIR ACCESS
Reaching Gorongosa National Park is now easier than ever, unlocking access to one of Africa’s most remarkable conservation success stories. Located in central Mozambique, the park is well-connected by air. International flights arrive in Beira, Mozambique’s second-largest city, which serves as the main gateway to Gorongosa. From Beira, travelers can take a short charter flight directly into the park with Safari Air, while a newly introduced scheduled flight connects Beira with Vilanculos, making it effortless to pair a safari in Gorongosa with the pristine beaches of Mozambique. Gorongosa also has its own airstrip for private charters, ensuring smooth and efficient access for visitors.
